eLoran 신호생성장치

eLoran Exciter
  • eLoran Exciter uses the standard time information it receives from the time synchronization and generation system (TFE) to generate eLoran pulse signals synchronized with universal time coordinated (UTC). It then transmits eLoran pulse signals inserted with Loran data channel (LDC) information received from the transmission station monitoring and control device (Integrated Operation and Control Station) using a high-power transmitter. In addition, it performs the ToT correction function by inserting time of transmission (TOT) control values received from the TFE. It is also composed so it can measure signal quality by receiving coupling signals of output signals.

Time Synchronization and Generation System (TFE)
  • The time synchronization and generation system synchronizes the system’s standard time to UTC. Its features include the generation of eLoran pulse signals of 100 kHz, time correction to synchronize the time of the transmission system, and high-power transmitter interface.

고출력송신기

High-power Transmitter
  • Its role is to amplify eLoran pulse signals generated by the TFE and the exciter to its maximum output level. The maximum output supported by a South Korean transmitter is currently 50 kW.

Output Network
  • eLoran signals are sent to antennas through the high-power transmitter and ATU. The antenna type is the top-loading monopole (TLM) vertical antenna.
