Pohang eLoran/Loran-C station

Station name: Pohang eLoran/Loran-C Station (PH)
The Pohang eLoran/Loran-C Station plays the role of a master station (9930-M) for the Korea Chain. Built in 1979 by the US Air Force, the Pohang eLoran/Loran-C Station is currently operated by the Pohang Maritime Radio Beacon Center under the NMPNT of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.

The Pohang eLoran/Loran-C Station performs various tasks including repairing and testing the Loran-C system in South Korea, maintaining and repairing integrity monitoring stations (IMS), and measuring Loran signals. It also supports the monitoring and control, as well as network maintenance and repair work for Okcheon Control Station
